District Department of Transportation (DDOT) - New Ordinance Affecting DC Employers

Attention HRA-NCA Members and Friends:

Starting on January 1, 2016, employers with 20 or more employees will be required to offer a commuter transit benefit.  For more information about this requirement, including the official language of the Commuter Benefits Ordinance ordinance, please view the Employer Transit Benefits Toolkit from goDCgo, a program of the District Department of Transportation.

The Department of Employment Services (DOES) in Washington DC is hosting several webinars to educate employers about the Commuter Benefits Ordinance on November 20 and December 8 & 16, 2015Sustainable DC Omnibus Amendment Act of 2014

In addition, goDCgo and Metro will provide step-by-step guidance on setting up a compliant transit benefits program on Wednesday, December 9, 2015Getting Started with Commuter Benefits
