THANK YOU for your interest in the DC SHRM Mentoring Program!  If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please complete the form below.  Our Mentoring Program Coordinator will contact you to confirm/discuss your participation in the group.  Only DC SHRM members are eligible.

To succeed, a mentoring relationship requires a commitment by both the mentor and mentee to work toward achieving goals that are mutually agreed.  To indicate your understanding of this commitment, your submitted application hereby acknowledges:

  • I will be required to attend an orientation program;
  • I will be required to interact with my mentee for one to two hours per month over a six-month period;
  • I will help establish goals for my mentee to achieve during our relationship, and I will propose activities and behaviors for my mentee in order to reach those goals;
  • I will monitor the mentee's progress towards those goals; and
  • My mentee and I will complete meeting journals, satisfaction survey(s), and any other documentation required by the Program.
