Regional HR Representative

Reports to: Regional Manager/Corporate HR

Position Summary

The Regional HR Representative provides support to the Mid-Atlantic Region in: staffing, compliance, employee relations, organization development, and training.  

Duties and Responsibilities:

Human Resources (~70%):

  1. Oversees all recruiting for the Mid-Atlantic Region. Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.
  2. Screens resumes, interviews candidates, administers appropriate assessments, completes reference checks and administers pre-employment tests. Refers qualified applicants to hiring managers for interviewing.
  3. Coordinates onboarding and conducts orientation efforts for all new hires.
  4. Provides regional support for employees and managers completing performance evaluations and IDPs.
  5. Stays current on employment law changes for the Mid-Atlantic Region with Corporate HR assistance.
  6. Advises and consults with Managers and Corporate HR on employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, legal risk, and documentation.
  7. Assists with the termination process.
  8. Meets federal and state compliance requirements within the Mid-Atlantic Region.
  9. Assume other HR responsibilities as assigned.

Office Management (~30%):

  1. Effectively and efficiently manage specific tasks related to building/suite management.
  2. Track and review monthly overhead expenditures, assist with setting/maintaining budget.
  3. Assume other office management responsibilities as assigned (ex. event coordination).

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications (In addition to minimum qualifications)


  • 5-8 years of experience in Human Resources including Recruiting and HR Support

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Administration or Human Resources
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR support
    • 2-3 years in recruiting at various levels in the organization
    • 2-3 years in human resource/benefits administration

  • Maintains high confidentiality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office Suite
  • Solid relationship building skills
  • Ability to recognize and refer issues appropriately
